TIPS TO GET OUT OF THE BALI AIRPORT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE
If you’re anything like us, you are ready to feel that sunshine, hear those beep beeps of motorbikes, and devour your first Nasi Goreng as quickly as possible once you land in Bali.
It’s no secret that lineups at Bali airport can be brutal! But if you know what to do prior to your arrival, you can make getting out of the airport a breeze!
There have been some MAJOR changes to arrivals in Bali in 2024, so if you want to avoid as many queues as possible when you land, you need to follow these steps
Buy your visa online before you arrive.
Don’t worry you can still buy your visa on arrival, but if you want to save time, buy it online before you come!
For those who have bought their visas online, you can head straight to the brand new e-gates once you land to be processed through immigration electronically (and quickly!).
*note e-gates can only be used by 14 years & older, but all other steps are for all ages.
Up to 3 days before you land, fill out your Customs Declaration form online, and keep a copy of the QR code you are given.
Pay the new Bali Tourism Levy online before you come, and keep a copy of the QR code you are given.
You need to visit 3 different websites in order to do all of these steps, and beware there are scam websites for the visas online - so you need to make sure you go the offical websites only.
